Terms and conditions for courses

1. Scope

These terms apply to all courses, trainings and masterclasses of EY Esthetic AG, Winkelbüel 2, 6043 Adligenswil, Switzerland (“EY Esthetic”). By registering, the participant and, where applicable, the registering company accept these terms.

2. Registration

Registration is made via the form on our website. It becomes binding once we have confirmed it by email. Places are allocated in the order in which registrations are received. If a course is fully booked, we will gladly put you on the waiting list and contact you as soon as a place becomes available.

3. Prices

The course price in Swiss francs published at the time of registration applies. What is included is stated in the course description.

4. Payment

After registering you will receive an invoice, payable within 30 days, but no later than 10 days before the course starts. For late registrations, the amount is due immediately.

If payment has not reached us 5 days before the course starts, we may cancel the registration and give the place to someone else. We will send you a reminder by email beforehand.

5. Cancellation by participants

Cancellations must be sent by email to info@ey-esthetic.ch. The date of receipt is decisive. The following scale applies:

• 30 days or more before the course starts: free of charge, amounts already paid are refunded in full.
• 14 to 29 days before the course starts: 50% of the course price is due.
• Less than 14 days before the course starts or no-show: the full course price is due.

Amounts already paid are refunded according to this scale. If the invoice is still open, the amount due remains payable as a fee.

6. Substitute and rebooking

If you cannot attend, you may send a substitute free of charge. Please let us know their name before the course starts.

Rebooking to another date of the same course is possible subject to availability. It is free of charge up to 30 days before the course starts, thereafter by arrangement.

7. Cancellation or postponement by EY Esthetic

We may cancel or postpone a course if there are too few registrations, if the instructor is unavailable or for other important reasons. We will inform you as early as possible. You may then choose between another date and a full refund of any amounts already paid.

Any further claims, such as for travel or accommodation costs or loss of earnings, are excluded.

8. Course delivery

We reserve the right to change the programme and the instructor, provided the course remains essentially the same. During practical exercises, please follow the instructions and safety rules, such as wearing protective glasses. Please inform us before the course of any health restrictions relevant to the exercises.

9. Certificate

After full attendance you will receive a certificate of attendance as stated in the course description. It is your own responsibility to check whether further qualifications are required for using certain devices or methods, for example under the Swiss V-NISSG ordinance on non-ionising radiation and sound.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are only liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. We accept no liability for personal belongings. Participants are responsible for adequate insurance cover.

11. Course materials and recordings

Course materials are for personal use only and may not be passed on or published without our consent. Photos, video and audio recordings during the course are only permitted with the consent of the instructor and the people shown.

12. Data protection

We use your details to run and invoice the course. Details can be found in our privacy policy.

13. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of EY Esthetic AG.
